Cyber cafe owner held for issuing e-tickets illegally in Gaya's Delha
GAYA(Bihar): Railway Protection Force (RPF) special team once again arrested owner of a cyber cafe for issuing railway e-tickets illegally in Gaya's Delha here on Tuesday.
After getting tip-off by DDU division Sr Divisional security Commissioner Jethin B Raj the RPF team of Gaya raided at the cyber cafe Vishnu Trevels at Paraiya road within the jurisdiction of Delha police station that its owner has been issuing e-tickets illegally.
The raids carried out with the coordination of local Delha police station and the equipment related to railway e-ticketing was investigated, altogether 7 Rail e-tickets generated using his own ID were recovered.
According to Inspector-in charge of RPF Ajay Prakash, who informed the media that there are 2 future e-tickets and whose price is ₹ 4676.80. While at the same time, 5 past (travelled) e-tickets were confiscated. The cost of which was found to be ₹ 21,747.20 while the total ticket cost to be ₹ 26,423.
Sr DSC Jethin B Raj told the News Root English Edition over mobile that shop operator Birendra Kumar Gupta (41) son of Saryu Sao, a resident of Paraiya road within limits of Chotki Delha police station,of Gaya district was arrested and on the complaint of Sub-Inspector Javed Ekbal Railway Security, through registered case no 1346/22 dated October 11 in RPF Post Gaya under section 143 of the Railway Act. The investigation of the case has been handed over RPF Gaya.
A day before this, the team has arrested a ticket broker from Suryakund locality and sent it to jail. Inspector Ajay Prakash, in-charge of Railway Protection Force Post Gaya, has been told that a campaign was launched by the officers and jawans against the illegal business of railway e-tickets.
