District police in association with IMA, chamber of commerce and Red Cross organised Mega medical camp in Gaya's Barachatti

 
GAYA(Bihar): Gaya police in association with Indian Medical Association, Chamber of Commerce and Red Cross organised a free medical camp at the premises of primary school, the foothills of Bela Mudla hill within the jurisdiction of Dhangai police station area of ​​Barachatti block of Gaya district here on Sunday. 
Social welfare is one of the core areas of interest of the SSP Harpreet Kaur and the health camp was meant to spread awareness on the requirement of regular medical check- ups among the villagers. 
The health camp comprised of general physician, Orthopedic and gynaecologist namely Dr R.D. Tiwari, Dr D.K. Sahay ENT. Dr.K.W, Dr. Manju Sinha, Dr. Reena Singh, Dr Renu Singh, Dr Sahista Equal, Dr. Dina Nath, Dr. Purnendu Shekhar, Dr Rahul Sahay, Dr. Kranti Kishore, Dr B. D. Sharma, Dr Noman Surgeon, Dr Rizwana Dr Vinay Jain, Dr. Vimalendu, Dr. Anupam and Dr Poonam Sahay.
SSP Harpreet Kaur distributed several domestic items among the villagers and appreciated local police for supporting the medical camp in the village.
Speaking on the occasion the SSP said that the medical camps were being organised to address health problems of people living in remote agency areas. The district police were constantly working for the welfare and development of the people living in the Maoist affected areas.
The SSP interacted with the tribals enquiring about the problems they were facing and promised to work hard to solve them. She reassured the family that the police department will always support them and said that steps would be taken to ensure that the family gets all kinds of benefits as soon as possible on behalf of the government.
Approximately 3000 families from different villages included Tiletad, Kumbhi, Pakaria, Amukhap, Bengwatari, Purani Dhangai, Latkuta, Pathalgarhi, Revda, underwent medical tests and were given medicines at the camp. Around 3000 people who availed the services were screened, briefed about their health, and free medical advice was prescribed.The camp was inaugurated by Senior Superintendent of Police Harpreet Kaur.
While talking to the MI here on Sunday, SSP Harpreet Kaur said that after getting an information of the camp, old men, women, children and girls from dozens of villages including, reached at the camp and get their health check-up and also they were provided free medicines, added SSP.
SSP Harpreet Kaur said during conversation with MI, she said that this area was once Naxal affected and areas remained far away from development and education but there has been a lot of change according to the changing times. 
This camp has been set up to strengthen the relationship between the police and the general public in Naxal- affected extremely backward areas and to take health services to the backward areas,added SSP Harpreet Kaur. 
CT SP Ashok Prasad, DSP Trainee IPS K Ramdas, 32nd Right A Company Battalion Assistant Commandant Ayush Mishra, Police Inspector Cum SHO Ramlakhan Pandit, SHO Angad Paswan school teachers and panchayat representatives were present on the occasion.
