5 Maa Durga idols were passed through Dukhharni gate for immersion in Gaya, DM and SSP remained on the spot till 2 pm

GAYA(Bihar): On the occasion of Navratra, discharging the old tradition, 5 licensed Maa Durga idols of the city are passed through the Dukhharni temple gate late night on Wednesday-Thrusday. 

In the same sequence, 5 licensed statues of the northern region of Gaya city were passed through Dukhharni gate on Wednesday on Vijayadashami of Navratri. This process continued till late Wednesday night till two o'clock.  

The statue passes through the Dukhharni gate and passes through Jama Masjid. While the tight security arrangements were made here regarding this.

During this, District Magistrate, Gaya Dr. Thiagarajan SM and Senior Superintendent of Police Harpreet Kaur were also present here.  In the presence of both the office bearers, the statue was passed through the Dukhharni temple gate in a peaceful manner.  The district officer himself should keep a close watch on getting the idol passed. in order to maintain social harmony and peace.  Due to the presence of the District Magistrate, his subordinate officers were also excited.

In this way, the officials were present near the Jama Masjid by passing the Dukhharni temple gate.  But if there was a slight delay in passing the statue, the District Magistrate himself would have got up from his place and went among the common people. They were explaining and urging them to move the statue as soon as possible. 

 

DM's effort has been appreciated by all the people of the society.  Until the last idol passed through the Dukhharni temple gate. Till then the District Magistrate was present there.  While passing the statue, the DM would get up from his place and reach there to encourage his subordinate officials.  After the tireless efforts of the District Officer for about 4 hours, 5 idols of Maa Durga were passed through the Dukharni temple gate in a peaceful manner.

In this entire programme, Municipal commissioner, Superintendent of Police Anil Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police PN Sahu, Sadar Sub-Divisional Officer Inderveer Kumar, Additional Collector Manoj Kumar, Deputy Collector Amit Patel, Deputy Collector Nazarat Abhishek Kumar along with a large number of security force personnel and social  Activists and prominent citizens of Muslim community were also present. 

 

It should be known that the licensed statue installed in Dukh Harni Temple, Tutbari, New Godown, Gol Pathar and Jheelganj in the northern region of Gaya city is near from the Dukharni temple gate.
