Hardcore criminal and sand mafia cum absconder arrested after one year in Gaya

GAYA(Bihar): One hardcore criminal, who was evading his arrest for since 2018 year in Arms Act and other atleast 20 criminal cases was arrested today arrested by Civil line police , said SSP Harpreet Kaur. 

“The arrest was made by a special police team led by ASP Bharat Soni and Maine police station in-charge and constituted by SSP, Gaya Harpreet Kaur after raids were done at Mining office near Koiribari locations,”SSP said.

She said the absconder criminal has been identified as Saurav Kumar alias Saurav Sharma alias Kumud Kumar alias Kumud Sharma son of Ram Uday Sharma, resident of Koiri Bigha within limits Main police station in Gaya was evading his arrest in a case FIR Number 5/18, 6/18, 312/18, 365/18, 360/21,47/19, 21/20, 36/20, 44/20,16/21,55/21,66/21,30/21,68/21,87/21, 89/21, 93/21,104/21, and 99/22, and Arms Act.

The SSP said the accused is a history sheeter and was wanted in more than 20 cases registered against him within the limits of differnt police stations. He was involved in various cases such as, attempt to murder, loot, other criminal offenses, illegal possession of Arms and others.

The accused shall be produced before the Court, she added.
